8 Sections based on Age
6 & under, 8 & under, 10 & under, 12 & under,
14 & under, 16 & under, 18 & under, 20 & under.
Note: Ages 6 & under on March 3, Ages 8 & under on March 4, and others on March 3 & 4.
Players may play in any section allowed based on their age as of Dec. 31, 2011 without any play-up fee.
Prizes
Trophies based on the following table. Winning record is required for all place trophies.
Additional trophies for Top players rated under 1000, 800, 600, 400, and 200, if they do not get a place trophy.
Participation medals to all entrants.

Schedule

Onsite Registration: Saturday/Sunday 7:30-8:15am.

Round Times:
Ages 6 & under: Saturday 9, 10:45, 12:30, 2pm, 3:30pm.
Ages 8 & under: Sunday 9, 10:45, 12:30, 2pm, 3:30pm.
All other sections: Saturday 9, 12:45, 4:30 & Sun 9, 12:45.
Other Information
hotel Time Control: All sections G/90 except sections Ages 6 & under and 8 & under is G/30.
USCF Membership required except bughouse. March 2012 Supplement & TD discretion will be used to place players.
National Scholastic Regulations will be followed to the best of our ability except where they conflict with TLA/bid. Click here to download a copy.
Entry Fees

Main Event: Mail or online by 2/18 = 1-day sections $48, 2-day sections $60.
Late fees: 2/19-25 = +$10, 2/26-29 = +$25, 3/1-2 & onsite = +$30.
Change fees: 2/25 & earlier = $0, 2/26 & later = $20.


Side Events
Blitz on Friday 3/2
Bughouse on Sunday 3/4
Registration: 5-5:30pm
Games:: 6-8p
Prizes: Top 3 players & teams in each section (11 & under, 20 & under).
Entry Fee: Mail/online by 2/25 = Blitz $15, Bughouse $15. Late fees: 3/1-2 & onsite = +$2.
