US National G/60 Championship on October 27
US National G/30 Championship on October 28

G/60 Nationals are on Oct 27 and G/30 Nationals are on Oct 28. The time controls for these two tournaments are different. In G/60, each player gets 60 minutes and the players play 4 rounds. In G/30, each player gets 30 minutes and the players play 5 rounds. October 2012 rating supplement will be used.
I have registered, now what?
1. Relax and check your entries two days after registering here for G/60 or G/30. If you find any errors, please contact us with your name, listed section, and correct information.
2. Arrive by 9am on the day of the tournament. The G/60 games are at 9:30a, 12:15p, 2:45p, 5:15p. The G/30 games are at 9:30a, 11a, 1p, 2:30p, 4p. If you need to miss a round for any reason, please contact us, preferably before the tournament starts.
3. If there is a $ sign in your name, please bring cash to settle your payment before the first round starts.
4. Please bring power strips because power outlets are in high demand.

Getting There!
1. Please park free in the Hotel parking lot.
2. Settle your account to avoid a late penalty of $5 for every round after the first round and/or getting dropped from the tournament.
3. TBD has a concession stand with chess equipment, books, and software. Please support their business because they support us. Commemorative shirts will be on sale for $15.
4. There is a coffee, food, and other items available. There are restaurants nearby (Taco Bell, Subway, etc.). No outside food is allowed in the hotel!

I am here, now what?
1. Recall your section. If you forgot, consult the alphabetical master list.
2. Consult the pairings chart outside the playing hall to find out color, opponent, and board number for your game. The pairing charts for kids will look something like the one below. Adults/Regular pairing charts will be arranged by board numbers. Go to your board number and wait to start when instructed.

3. Further Instructions
Kids u1000 Section Adult Section
Parents: Directors will ask all adults to leave the playing room in the kids section. Inform your child (player) where you will meet him/her after the game and leave.

Players: When you are done with your game: Report your result to the TD, reset the board, go to the Scorers’ table, and report your result there as well.
The regular section games may be observed as long as no player objects to your presence. Non-players in the playing hall must observe pin-drop silence. The slightest noise will prompt removal.

Players will mark their own result.
